  1. Preventing Diseases (2019)

  2. Dietetics and completed 1200 supervised hours in the clinical, food service, and community settings (2023)

Other achievements:

  • Certified Health Coach (2017)

  • BS in Sport and Recreation Management (UNE 2016)

Evolving to Nutrition:

Since I can remember, I played basketball and softball all the way through college. I never truly understood the importance of proper nutrition and training for optimal performance that my parents tried to instill in me and my sister. When my mother was hospitalized with diverticulitis, she shocked the doctors due to her quick recovery and no need for surgery. The interest in nutrition and lifestyle evolved and the desire to help and inspire others was only beginning.

Although I was an athlete, I struggled with my weight all my life.

  • In 2017, I decided a change was needed and applied to work with an online coach who was running a 3 month program, little did I know it would be the best decision.

  • I started weight training, ran a marathon, gained more knowledge about nutrition, and overall gained more confidence in myself.

  • My love for this lifestyle escalated throughout the years and in 2020 I signed up with a coach for my first OCB bikini bodybuilding competition.

  • In 2022, I competed in another two shows (NPC).

  • This sport taught me a lot about grit, discipline, dedication, pushing limits, and a lot about myself.

  • After my 2022 shows, although I love the sport, the restrictions and stress the body endures is not ideal; I experienced binge eating disorder (now recovered)

Vision:

  • My passion goes beyond competing in bodybuilding shows, going to the gym, and playing sports. It encompasses helping people mend their relationship with food, healthy digestion, preventing (or how to live with) chronic health diseases, and sports performance.

  • Whether through fitness training or nutrition counseling, I love guiding people to their healthiest, happiest lives by developing an individualized approach that aligns with each individual's unique goals.

Who I Work With:

  • Individuals who are 13 years and older

  • Athletes or the every day person

  • Individuals who want to improve their relationship with food and body, fuel for performance, and/or how to manage/improve their health conditions through nutrition

  • I currently am the RDN for Colby College athletics while also working one-on-one with my clients remotely
